By using the Provio platform operated by Erasolis Ventures Private Limited, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password, and role (candidate or recruiter).
• Profile information: education, work experience, skills, projects, certifications, resume, portfolio links (GitHub, LinkedIn, LeetCode, Figma, Medium), and references.
• Verification data: responses to skill assessments, proctoring data (where applicable), and results of education, portfolio, and reference verification.
• Payment information: processed by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or UPI credentials.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and other diagnostic data collected automatically.
• Cookies: used for authentication, session management, and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account on the platform.
• To verify credentials, run skill assessments, and compute your profile score.
• To match candidates with recruiters based on skills, role, and preferences.
• To process payments for premium features.
• To send transactional emails such as verification, security alerts, and updates about your account.
• To send marketing communications (which you can unsubscribe from at any time).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following situations:

• With recruiters: verified candidate profiles are visible to registered recruiters searching for talent.
• With service providers: trusted third parties who help us operate the platform, including Supabase (database and auth), Razorpay (payments), Brevo (email), and AI providers (Anthropic, Google, Groq) used to power verification and recommendation features.
• Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
